Barron County Recycling Program changes went into effect March 3, 2021. There is now one site in Chetek at 209 Water Street and it is open Wednesday thru Saturday, 8am-10:30am.
Items accepted for recycling are:
- #2 natural plastic – Milk Bottles,
- #2 collared plastic – Soap Bottles etc.,
- #1 plastic – Pop bottles
- Tin cans
- Aluminum cans
- Glass bottles
- Cardboard will be discontinued at this time. It should go in your regular weekly garbage.
